SEWRI FORT
Sewri Fort lies amidst the busling city of city on its eastren edge. The Fort shapely by the British in 1680 was meant to be a check post,was later converted into prison and afterward used for storage. The fort held off the European attack in 1772 and after India's independence it was taken over by the city Porttrust.

Worli Fort
Worli Fort built by Portugues during the 16th century,was handed to the British in 1665 along with the seven islands of Mumbai under the terms of Royal Treaty between the Great Britain and Portugal. Prior to these,during the seven year war between the British & Napoleon,Worli fort was strengthened and garrison was increases. It serves as a watch tower in the sea front. Gun slits can still be seen on the walls of this historic fort.
The Worli Fort is approachable through the Worli village and is located a kilometre from the Worli BES Station
